The donations to Color Country Animal Welfare during our online September Tent Party this year gave $6,500 toward the final push needed for the fencing, furniture, and just a few more things for the shelter to open its doors next year. We are so thrilled about it!

We are so grateful for your support of the animals and our future animal care facility! Thank you to everyone who helped raise more money for essential animal wellness services here in Wayne County. The door prize winners have been contacted and received their door prizes.

Ground has already broken on the building of the shelter (see the photo below), which is wonderful. We are so happy about everyone’s support for this wonderful place that will be a safe and kind animal shelter. Thanks again!
