Sandy Borthwick

Sandy grew up in North Dakota. She moved west to pursue degrees in Wildlife Biology from Utah State and Colorado State Universities. She had a 34-year career working as a biologist for the Federal Government, half of which was spent at Capitol Reef National Park. She retired in 2021 and resides in Torrey with her husband Jim Robinson and border collie, Reggie. Sandy has been a life-long animal lover, both wild and domestic. She was involved in animal welfare groups when living in California and Colorado, and she and Jim have fostered dozens of dogs. Sandy is a volunteer at CCAW and is excited to join the Board and become more involved in CCAW’s animal welfare work.
