River is a happy 5 year old chocolate lab who has a new lease on life! She used to spend her time in a kennel, raising puppies, and now is excited to see the other side of the fence. After spending time at CCAW learning new skills and being doted on by staff, she found her forever home! She is beyond loved by her new family who said, “She is a great dog! She wants to learn and EVERYTHING is new to her and she wants to take it all in and does. She loves me so very much and is an incredibly smart and affectionate dog.” Her new family knows she has her quirks, but that’s the thing about rescuing an animal. They’re unique! They often have complicated histories, just like us, and all they need is a little love and someone to trust. We are so happy to know River will live out the rest of her life in a home where love is boundless.
