Raised on a ranch in northwest Texas, Marjory grew up surrounded by animals, raising and showing Quarter Horses and always having a menagerie of four-legged companions around. She developed a love for the desert Southwest at a young age and has a particular passion for the red rocks and canyons of southern Utah.
Marjory and her husband, Dylan, purchased property in Torrey in 2000 and now spend about half of each year in the community, enjoying the outdoors and hiking with their courageous rescue mutts.
Throughout her career, Marjory has combined a strong commitment to her community with leadership and service. She served her city as Mayor for many years and has also built a career as a real estate broker and mortgage branch manager.
