Originally from Michigan, Sandy Brunvand moved to SLC., Utah at 19, for just a few years. Decades later she still calls it home. After a rewarding 30 years of an arts teaching career in public education and at the University of Utah, she retired to focus on her greatest passion: ANIMALS. Dogs are always at the top of the list. (Her art students used to joke that if one wanted an A on their homework, just add a dog!) Sandy and her husband, Erik, recently bought a shared home in Teasdale, Utah, where she discovered her new happy place, CCAW. After volunteering many hours at CCAW she was invited to join the Board of Directors.
