1. This big, beautiful boy is Newton. He was given to someone to be used as a livestock guardian dog even though that had never been his job and he was put on the mountain. We’re not sure what happened after that, but a week later he was found by some kind people, extremely hungry and dehydrated. His feet were very sore from probably walking many miles to try and get back home and his friend who was also put up there with him was not found. He is possibly a German Sheoherd/Malamute mix, is 4 years old, weighs 99 pounds, and is neutered and vaccinated. He is very sweet, well mannered and chill. He rides well in the car, gets along with other dogs and he loves children. He loves to go for walks/hikes and does well off leash. He’s had a recent vet exam and is in good health.
